and Jhené Aiko have revealed that they are expecting a baby boy.

The couple announced the gender of their unborn child during a Los Angeles concert on Thursday (Oct. 13) after the duo performed their collaborative track, “I’m Gonna Be.”

While on stage, Sean cradled Aiko’s belly and revealed the sex of their bundle of joy.

“Make some noise,” the 34-year-old “Bounce Back” rapper yelled into his microphone before Aiko stated, “Make some noise for our Baby boy.”

“Make some noise for our baby boy!” the “Blessings” rapper shouted to the roaring crowd as he continued to cradle the 34-year-old “Stay Ready (What A Life)” singer’s baby bump.

Video clips of the announcement surfaced on social media showing Big Sean, whose real name is Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, caressing ‘s prominent baby bump as they shared the happy news with the audience.

Many social media users had assumed the couple was expecting a son since Big Sean frequently uses blue heart emojis when discussing his upcoming arrival.

“Thank you ✨🥰,” Big Sean commented when Jhené Aiko shared her picture.

“Can’t wait! 💙💫,” he followed up in a second comment moments later.

Since then, Jhené Aiko, whose given name is Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo, has shared plenty of photos amid her pregnancy journey with fans on social media.

Two months later, Sean shared a set of photographs on Instagram, telling his followers that Aiko had reached the third trimester of her pregnancy.

“Third trimester already, Life is changing! LottA Gratitude! 🤲🏾🖤🌍✨” he gushed to which Aiko commented, “🥰.”

Big Sean and Jhené Aiko, who have frequently collaborated on music throughout their careers, including on Big Sean’s hit “Beware” and single “Body Language,” began dating in 2016.

They also performed as a duo under the moniker Twenty88 and released an album titled “TWENTY88” the same year they began their relationship.

The two split three years later, in March 2019. However, the pair reunited in 2020.

During a February 2021 conversation with DJ Khaled, Jhené revealed that the strong foundation she and Big Sean share makes their relationship unique.

“Our friendship is really strong, so that has made our relationship what it is, just that foundation of real friends who really know each other on that level,” she explained.
