The 52-year-old singer appeared “scarily thin” and “seriously underweight” in the images with many fans expressing concern and enquiring about her dramatic “weight-loss.”

In a 2019 interview with The Sun, the “The Power Of Love” singer had a few words for people who criticize her slimmer frame.
“If I like it, I don’t want to talk about it. Don’t bother. Don’t take a picture. If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone,” she said.

Celine Dion has definitely been embracing her new appearance. She has long been fond of chic, haute couture looks, but now that she is in her 50s, she is taking things to a new level.
“To be honest with you, I think I’m at the best of my life right now, and I really want to enjoy and embrace every moment of it,” the superstar singer added.
“I’m doing this for me. I want to feel strong, beautiful, feminine and sexy,” she continued.

Celine Dion admitted that she has gotten “thinner” when asked about comments from some who say she has been looking too thin lately.
“It’s true that I’m a little thinner. Everything’s fine, nothing’s wrong,” she told ABC News’ Deborah Roberts during an interview with Good Morning America in April 2019.

Celine Dion has always been slim and fit due to her singing and dancing on stages all over the world. However, the “That’s the Way It Is” singer credited her recent weight loss for her new-born passion for adding ballet to her already rigorous dance training sessions.
Celine Dion’s personal revamp comes three years after her longtime husband and manager, René Angélil, passed away in January 2016. The Grammy Award-wining singer said her late husband is always with her and gives her strength every day as she takes new risks.
“He gave me so much strength through all these years. And so much for me to explore, for me now to spread my wings,” she said.
