Jennifer Lopez looked stunning in a lovely green dress over the weekend!
The “Marry Me” actress flaunted her “date night” ensemble in a new social media post on Sunday (April 17), featuring photographs and a video that appeared to be shot by fiancé Ben Affleck.
“About last night 💚🍀 #JLovers #ThanksForVoting #DateNight,” she captioned the post on Instagram.
In the photographs and footage, the 52-year-old Bronx native can be seen sporting the sleeveless vintage Bottega Venata dress featuring a high slit that revealed her alligator platform Gucci heels, gold jewelry, and Cult Gaia purse.
Ben Affleck was clearly smitten with the outfit as he appeared to snap two photos of her posing on a bed before capturing a candid view as she used her phone.
The couple has been reportedly house hunting for a new mansion for the last week. On Saturday (April 16) they were spotted by fans looking at a place next door to Kylie Jenner's as well as visiting another estate.
After a year of rekindling romantically with J.Lo, with whom he was originally engaged from 2002 to 2004, the Boston-born actor proposed in April with a very rare green diamond ring.
Jennifer Lopez revealed the news in her On the JLo newsletter. Her message to fans featured a video of her admiring a large, green stone on a silver band on her ring finger, an image of which was also shared on social media by her sister Lynda.
“I always say the color green is my lucky color. Maybe you remember a certain green dress,” Jen wrote in her OnTheJlo newsletter as she revealed the engagement, confirming that Ben proposed in the bath.
“I've realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green,” she added.
The engagement ring, like her previous pink diamond ring, is estimated to be worth more than $5 million and is made of an extremely rare gemstone.
The “Selena” actress shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck has three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
Affleck most recently supported his wife-to-be by cheering her on with his son Samuel and her daughter Emme at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March.
In December, Affleck told WSJ. Magazine that he considers himself “lucky” to have been given second chances in both his professional and personal lives.
“I've had second chances in my career. I've had second chances as a human being. Life is difficult, and we are always failing and hopefully learning from those failures,” he said.
“The one thing you really need to avail yourself of the opportunities provided from that growth is the second chance. I've definitely tried to take advantage of that. I haven't always been successful, but in cases in which I have, they've turned out to be the defining aspects of my life.”
