Celine Dion fired back at bashers and body shamers who criticized her weight.
The 50-year-old singer said she feels “sexier” than ever.
Celine Dion hit out at those who believe she’s too slim, saying if they don’t like the way she looks, they should just “leave [her] alone”.
Speaking on The Dan Wootton Interview podcast, Celine broke her silence about her weight loss and said she was “doing this for me”.
“I want to feel strong, beautiful, feminine and sexy. If I like it, I don’t want to talk about it,” she said.
“Don’t bother. Don’t take a picture. If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone,” she added.
Celine launched Celinununu last year. It is a clothing line for kids which is gender neutral. This clothing line was created for the purpose of giving children a “chance to feel free to find their own individuality.”
“It’s not that we’re hoping to shift gender norms with Celinununu,” she said.
“I think that every child needs to have their own identity, to express themselves freely, and to not feel like they have to be like someone else,” she continued.
Celine Dion, who has three sons, with her late husband René Angélil, said that her twins love the items in the range.
“My oldest son is 17, so no it’s not for him. Eddy and Nelson just turned eight and even though they’re twins, they are very different from each other. Both wear the line and they both think it’s great,” she revealed.
Celine Dion is a Canadian singer. She achieved worldwide fame for her best selling English songs such as “The Power of Love”, “Because You Loved Me”, “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now”, “My Heart Will Go On”, and “I’m Your Angel.”
