Shenseea Supports The LGBTQ Community
Shenseea has shown support for the LGBT community several times on social media.
When the Dancehall artiste, last year summer, released the visuals for her Tyga-assisted single “Blessed,” it featured all the ingredients of a classic music video set in Jamaica; the shot of a pristine beach, a man chopping a coconut, a rasta with a fat spliff chanting among others. However, around 13 seconds in, the camera focuses on Shenseea undressed in bed with another woman.
During Pride month in 2018, she posted an image of herself sporting Pride-inspired suspenders and shoes.
“Alot of my supporters been messaging me in concern about how I feel for them being a #ShenYeng and having a certain preference… Today I just wanna represent and tell y'all that your sexuality doesn't matter to me ?? I love all of y'all ??❤ #shenyengz #forever #loveislove,” Shenseea wrote in the caption on Instagram.
