Megan Thee Stallion has broken her silence about a burglary that took place at her home in Los Angeles on Thursday (Oct. 13).
Taking to social media on Friday (Oct. 14), the Grammy Award-winning rapper penned a short message for her fans seemingly referencing the incident.
“Material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe 💙🙏🏾,” she shared on Twitter.
Two men smashed a glass door at the back of the “Savage” rapper’s L.A. home and made their way to her primary bedroom, taking between $300,000 and $400,000 in cash, electronics, and jewelry, law enforcement reportedly told TMZ.
Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, was not at her Los Angeles home at the time of the burglary.
No arrests had been made as of Friday, but police revealed that they had received video footage of the incident, TMZ reported.
Megan Thee Stallion also addressed the need for a break following her “Saturday Night Live” feature over the weekend.
“Hotties im really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break I’m so tired, physically and emotionally,” the rapper tweeted.

Megan Thee Stallion also had to face the legal repercussions of accusing 34-year-old rapper, Tory Lanez, of allegedly shooting her in July 2020. Doctors found three major bullet fragments in her feet after claiming that it was Lanez who fired the shots.
In a 2022 interview with Gayle King on “CBS Mornings,” Megan confirmed previous statements on social media and in the press that the “Hot Gyal rapper, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, shot her in the feet as she attempted to walk away from a car in which they were traveling with friend Kelsey Nicole and Lanez’s bodyguard, shouting “Dance, bitch!”
She hinted at her mental health struggles earlier this year in a Rolling Stone interview.
“I’m trying every day to get through it and be good. I feel so bad because I don’t feel like anybody’s taking me seriously, but I don’t want them to see me cry. I don’t want them to know that I feel like this, because I don’t want them to feel like, ‘Oh, I got you. I’m breaking you,'” Megan told the publication.
