Earlier this month, Vybz Kartel shared two photos of himself showing off his fashion looks while updating fans on his music and life behind bars via social media.
He told his Instagram followers that he is “holding it out” following recent allegations that he received a death threat from a prison warder at the Horizon Correctional Facility in Kingston.
“Bearing justice but me a gwaan wul it. #worlboss #gazanation #thecometiscoming,” he wrote under the pic with him sporting a Ralph Lauren Polo outfit on Nov. 15.
Vybz Kartel has been incarcerated for over a decade, but his music career continues to thrive, making him one of the most relevant Dancehall artists today. His new album “The Appellant” will follow his EP “True Religion,” which is currently being promoted.
In another pic, he can be seen sporting a black and white outfit.
“The comet is coming,” he declared referring to his upcoming album “The Appellant,” which will be released next month and will see productions from his record label Vybz Kartel Muzik, TJ Records, and Aiko Pon Di Beat.
