Shenseea Wants To Be As Famous As… Rihanna

While Shenseea‘s music career is inspired by single motherhood, her main goal is to become an international star.

She revealed to media outlets that motherhood and single parenting inspired her to take music seriously so that she will be able to financially support her son, Rajeiro Lee. According to her, she wants to be famous to the level where people will recognize her everywhere she goes.

“Rihanna levels,” she shoots back when asked by the Guardian regarding how big she wants to become.

“And I’m on my way,” she added.

“I still haven’t reached where I want to go, which is becoming really international, to where I walk around New York City and not one person doesn’t recognize me. Signing to Interscope is a big deal, but right now, I’m just getting to know different people who will help me get there,” she told Billboard Magazine last year July.
