Jah Reefa gets ready for the "Summer Time" heat with his new single "High Rolla," a remix to Drake's "Controlla."

Jamaican-born artist is ready to control summer with his new track “High Rolla, off Drake’s Billboard hit “Controlla.”

The Young Kush-produced single, “High Rolla,” was recorded in North Side, Grand Cayman during April.

The Dancehall entertainer is preparing to shoot the music video for his energetic single “Summer Time,” produced by Rani Ras Records, in Jamaica.

Jah Reefa reveals more details about his music career to Hype Life Magazine.

“Big up Rani Ras Records. and all supporting acts,” he said.

“My new singles “High Rolla” and “Summer Time” are just a taste of whats to come.” he explained.

“Wi nuh affi black out wi eyes, wi bad naturally,” he joked. 

The vibrant artist has recently released several new singles including “Summer Time,” “Loyalty,” “Take On The Road,” “Reefa Mi Name” and “Teacher Gone,” which were distributed by 21st-Hapilos Digital.

Jah Reefa, whose real name is Desmond Jason Brown, brings a unique hardcore style to the Dancehall scene and has opened shows for Grammy award-winning acts such as Shaggy and Damian Marley.
