Pop diva Janet Jackson's first album in over seven years, 'Unbreakable', will officially open at #1 of the Billboard 200.

Pop diva ’s first album in over seven years, ‘Unbreakable’, will officially open at #1 on tomorrow’s edition of the Billboard 200, Hype Life Magazine has confirmed.

‘Unbreakable,’ which reunites Jackson with longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, sold 106,000 in physical sales and 112,000 (when factoring in streaming).

The numbers place Jackson atop of the coveted US tally by quite a margin; indeed she sold almost three times that of nearest competition – Tamar Braxton‘s ‘Calling All Lovers.’ That project shifted 37,000 copies.

With a long-overdue nomination in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced for Jackson this week too, it goes without saying that she has ample cause for celebration.
