Kanye West already has a music career and has taken on fashion with his Yeezy line.
Now, the husband of reality star Kim Kardashian is branching out with a cosmetics brand.
The “Paranoid” singer has filed legal docs declaring his intention to produce Donda brand makeup, perfumes, lotions and other cosmetics, according to TMZ.
His potential makeup line would be named after his late mother, Dr. Donda West, who passed away in 2007 the day after receiving multiple cosmetic surgeries.
Donda, which is an endearing homage to his mom, could potentially include lines of perfume and lotion, as well as makeup, for both men and women.
The move into beauty will put him in direct competition with his wife and sisters-in-law.
Kim Kardashian and sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian co-own an extensive line of hair products, while Kylie Jenner’s lip kits and other beauty items regularly sell out.
