K. Michelle announced that she was saying goodbye to her surgically enhanced bottom, affectionately nicknamed “Betsy.”
The R&B singer gave an update on how her butt enhancement removal procedure went on January 12th and how she’s currently keeping up.
“Hey Rebels, i’m doing well. My surgery went really well yesterday. I’m on bed rest for a while but its all good! I’ll be getting ready to hit the road for tour starting THIS February! You got your tickets?” she wrote on Twitter on Saturday (Jan 13).
The singer recently opened up about the health risks brought on by her fake booty and her quest to get rid of it.
In late December, the singer posted a video compilation of her (and Betsy) twerking, and got real about her decision to remove her butt implants in the caption.
“Good Betsey! It’s been 2much of you stealing my shine. It’s time to allow my new booty to be set free,” she began. “I had so much fun Betsy! You were the apple of the eye of several nfl, nba, and rappers. They loved that a**! But I am proud to say you were not thotful you were lady like!” she wrote on Instagram.

Michelle went on to explain that life with surgical enhancements isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
“I will miss you and how my jeans fit. But I wont miss hopping into my jeans every morning,” she wrote.
“I won’t miss my weight being so up and down that when I’m smaller you have me looking like a chicken drum stick,” she added.
She also opened up about the side effects of having butt implants.
“I’ll miss you Betsy but you also caused me inflammation through out my body. No amount of beauty is worth your health! So everything has to be returned to its natural state! Jan I’ll really be Kimberly again,” she expressed.
