Lisa Hanna has once again shared a “beach body” photo and broke Jamaican Internet!
The former Minister of Youth and Culture of Jamaica and former Miss World posted the snap on social media to mark her 42nd birthday, which received thousands of “likes” and hundreds of positive comments.
“No place I’d rather be as I Give thanks for another year today 🇯🇲❤️🙏🏽🌈🎊 #Grateful #42,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Thanking you all for making my life so meaningful!”
In the photo, Hanna can be seen in a bikini that shows off her stunning beach body.
However, not everyone is happy about the post.
Father Richard Ho Lung has opined that, as a public figure, she should not post such pictures which will evoke passions in people and become a source of temptation.
“We should avoid arousing the passions of people, whoever they are, because we are all vulnerable,” he told media reporters.
“We are living in a culture that is drawn to so many sins that are against the flesh. All of us are vulnerable to it, whether it be a regular human on the street or a spiritual man, and we should avoid being the source of temptation to other people,” he added.
This is not the first time Ho Lung criticized Lisa Hanna as in 2015, he labelled her as the “disappointment of 2014,” after she posted a picture of herself wearing a blouse and a yellow bikini on the beach.
At the time, he questioned why the Minister would put herself on social media “just short of complete nudity.”
The clergyman stated that it represented a desperate attempt to call attention to herself. Now, Ho Lung is imploring Hanna not to be “an occasion of sin for people.” Hanna has not issued any response to his comments.
