Sizzla Tapped For DJ Khaled’s New Album “Grateful”

has been recruited for ’s upcoming album “Grateful.”

The American producer took to social media to share photos depicting the Jamaican artist in work mode while informing fans that the deejay will be featured on the highly anticipated album.

“Putting final touches to my biggest album grateful. Sizzla and We the Best Music. I know my roots that’s why I’m so in in tune into nature. Bless up, lion order, big up,” DJ Khaled wrote.

“Sizzla’s vocals on the chune we cutting right now is so powerful on everything I love. Tears coming down my eyes. I’m so grateful to all my fans love worldwide. I’m so grateful,” he added.

Sizzla also shared the news on his social media, noting that he is pleased to be working with DJ Khaled.

“Give thanks for the hospitality DJ Khaled. I’m honoured to be a part of the new album Grateful. More fire mek it bun, more life and more love. Respect every time general. Jah bless,” Sizzla wrote.

The pair teamed up on Sunday (May 14) at Khaled’s Miami home to record a song for his tenth studio album.   

Sources told Hype Life Magazine that the We The Best Music Group head is working hard on the new album which is being executive produced by his son, Asahd Khaled.

“DJ Khaled is a huge fan of Sizzla so it’s no surprised that he enlisted the icon for his new album,” the source revealed.

“His son Asahd is the execute producer for the album.”

“Grateful” will be released on August 4 by We the Best Music Group and Epic Records.

Sizzla joins the list of guest appearances including Jay-Z, Drake, Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne, Quavo, and .

The legendary Reggae entertainer, who had experienced a decline in his international presence after the loss of his visa six years ago, is no stranger to working with international acts.

Sizzla Kalonji has collaborated with Damion Dash and Foxy Brown in the past and was also sampled by Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Ja Rule on different projects.

DJ Khaled was introduced to the Dancehall scene by Dancehall veteran Bounty Killer.

Labeled the ‘King of Snapchat’, the producer has achieved much success in recent times, getting collaborations with artistes like Nicki Minaj, Justin Beiber, Chris Brown, Jeremih and Remy Ma.
