Taylor Swift offers an apology to Nicki Minaj, following the misunderstanding about Nicki’s VMAs rant.
Taylor Swift has retracted her huffing and puffing after taking Nicki Minaj’s comments about “Anaconda” being snubbed from the MTV Video Music Awards’ Video of the Year category, personal.
Nicki Minaj went on a Twitter rant about the MTV Video Music Awards snubbing her “Anaconda” video for Video of the Year.
“If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year,” Nicki wrote on Twitter.
Seems Taylor Swift thought that Nicki Minaj was talking about her and immediately fired off a tweet in response.
“@NICKIMINAJ I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..,” Swift replied on Twitter.
Swift did got a lot of bashing from some quarter of mainstream media and some big name celebrities.
She finally bow out of her stance and issued on apology via Twitter to Nicki.
“I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ,” Swift wrote on Twitter.
Nicki isn’t the only rapper who was embroiled in a Twitter feud this week.
Her current bae, Meek Mill, was also tangled in headlines after allegedly outing Drake for using a ghostwriter.
