Vybz Kartel has announced the title of his forthcoming album, Exiled Pharoah.
The incarcerated Dancehall superstar has been preparing his new album since last year and is now finalizing it for release, sources told to Hype Life Magazine.
Vybz Kartel revealed the album name on his Instagram account on Monday, telling his fans that the project is “coming soon.”
There aren’t much details available about the project, except the title and that Linton “TJ” White is the executive producer.
Online source speculate that fellow Dancehall entertainer Spice could be a guest feature on the LP.
The two is preparing to release a new collaboration titled “World Apart” this fall.
Vybz Kartel has recently released a string of song including “She Say,” “What U Sellin,” “Power of Love” featung Lola Smiles, “Ouchea” featuring Ili Sanchea and “Secret (Refix)” feating Shenseea.
“Exiled Pharoah” will be Kartel’s follow-up to his 2016 critically acclaimed album “King of the Dancehall.”
Meanwhile, Kartel has returned to releasing new music after going on a brief hiatus as a result of his appeal case which wrapped in the Appeal Court in July this year. He is now awaiting a verdict from the appeal judges.
Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, is currently serving a 35-years sentence for murder. Despite being in prison for over eight years, he has maintain his relevance in Dancehall.
