Vybz Kartel’s baby mother and common-law wife, Shorty, has reportedly been removed from the incarcerated artist’s visiting list.
The couple is no longer in a relationship, Kartel’s close friend and business partner, Sikka Rhymes revealed to media reporters earlier this week.
This comes after rumors surfaced that the pair was no longer togther following a cryptic post shared on Kartel’s Instagram account last week.
“Me (Kartel) and har nuh de!” the post read as it warned the public against entering into any business deals with Shorty.
Over the past weeks, Shorty, whose real name is Tanesha Johnson, has been under fire by Dancehall fans for allegedly cheating on the “World Boss” deejay.
Additionally, she was noticeably missing from the recent photos taken at his seasonal family visit in lock-up earlier this year.
Sikka Rhymes has now disclosed that Shorty is not authorized to carry out any business deals on the deejay’s behalf.
“He [Vybz Kartel] just wants to make it clear because people are going to her [Shorty] about business transactions and him no de pon dat,” Sikka Rhymes said.
“Vybz Kartel likes to keep his business professional because he is a real businessman and bad blood is simply bad for business … anybody knows this,” he added.
Rhymes revealed that Shorty is also barred from visiting Kartel in jail.
He, however, was tight-lipped regarding why Shorty was banned from visiting her baby daddy, suggesting only to say things between the two have changed.
“Shorty is not on Vybz Kartel’s visiting list and once you are not on that list, then you are not allowed to visit. Everything was good when Kartel was at road but from him get lock up certain things change,” he said.
Vybz Kartel and Shorty were together for over a decade. The two share three sons together.
