Ishawna opens up about being watered off stage during her "Equal Rights" performance at Dream Weekend 2017.

literally shut down Dream Weekend’s Xtreme Wet N Wild on Sunday (July 30) when she was watered off stage during her performance.

The Dancehall artist was drenched with super soakers when she began performing her controversial single “Equal Rights” at the Kool Runnings Water Park in Negril, Jamaica.

Dancehall selector Tony Matterhorn stepped in to calm the crowd after the partgoers damaged the sound equipment including Ishawna’s microphone.

After a short moment of delays, the former Downsound Records artist returned to the stage without a working mic as her females fans formed a choir and began singing the raunchy track.

Speaking with Onstage TV shortly after the incident, Ishawna was in good spirits as she says it’s just business as usual.

“You know say that’s how my thing set, always excitement and calamity… that’s how it set for me, festivities on top of festivities,” she said.

“The show was fun…. the women came out for me, so all the men that are upset… abay,” Ishawna added.
