Dancehall artist Krishane, along with his dad, Reggae superstar Barrington Levy, drops off "Roses" on a hot new song.

The upcoming star follows his debut hit single “Drunk And Incapable” featuring Melissa Steel and club banger “Inconsiderate” featuring Patoranking with a collaboration with the reggae legend.

“Roses,” produced by Delirious (Lady Leshurr, Chipmonk, Tinie Tempah), is a vibrant pop, reggae crossover hybrid, which is sure to please fans worldwide.

“We came up with the idea after a WhatsApp video chat with Dad while in the studio,” Krishane told Hype Life Magazine.

Barrington Levy connects his distinctive flavor and medoly to the second verse for this banger offering from Krishane. The record communicates appreciation, adoration, symbolising that special person as Krishane delivers with conviction.

Born in Jamaica, Krishane grew up in a world of music being the son of Reggae veteran Barrington Levy.

With a strong passion for music, Krishane started writing and singing from the tender age of just six.

Raised in Manchester, he accompanied his father on tour and watched his mother conduct meetings with music business executives. His own talent for singing was discovered while he was at school; he joined the school choir, performing at talent shows across the breadth of Jamaica, and while still in his early teens performed in boy band, the Teardrops.

Determined to carve his own path, in 2011, Krishane moved to London, where he signed a worldwide recording and publishing agreement with 1 2 One Entertainment. He has since worked with the likes of hit producers Bless Beats, Will Simms, Michael Angelo, and Diztortion to name just few.

Krishane, who later inked a deal with Atlantic Records in 2014, has also co-wrote the smash hit single for Tinie Tempah “Not Letting Go” featuring Jess Glynne and Tinie’s “Mamacita” featuring Wizkid.

His first single, “Drunk and Incapable,” featuring fellow Atlantic signee Melissa Steel, fused R&B, digital reggae, and pure pop, was released in October 2014, gained huge exposure across radio and was the highest climber on the Shazam Chart which lead krishane to doing the Honeymoon Tour UK with Arianna Grande, all Arenas.

The fast-rising entertainer, who is best described as urban pop crossover, has also released  “Inconsiderate” featuring Patoranking and “Found Da Boi” featuring Wande Coal.

The 23-year-old singer is currently recording his debut album alongside Will Simms (Sean Kingston), Michael Angelo (Sam Smith, Jacob Banks) and Bless Beats (Jess Glynne, Wiley).

He was included as BBC’s Ones To Watch Artist.
