Mavado recently filed a lawsuit against Member of Parliament Paul Buchanan after issues developed in a $20 million housing deal between the two parties
Hype Life Magazine understand that the MP was contracted to construct a townhouse on a property located in Norbrook, St Andrew.
However, according to the deejay, five years later, Buchanan has failed to hand over a title, and the townhouse has not been constructed.
The We The Best dancehall specialist returns with a new track titled “I Aint Going Back Broke.”
The song features label mate Ace Hood and Future who gel properly over the moderate tempo of the head-nodding instrumental.
Mavado recently responded to a recent petition to have him deported from the United States.
The “I Aint Going Back Broke” deejay, whose given name is David Brooks, told reporters that a former business associate is behind the scheme.
The singjay, however, declined to name the former associate.
Mavado said this is not the first time that his reputation and music career have been attacked by this individual.
The singjay said he has contracted the services of an immigration attorney, who is handling the matter.
Mavado is busy working on his upcoming 16-track album slated to be released in May nder DJ Khaled’s We the Best Music Group.
He released I Ain’t Going Back Broke, a collaboration with hip-hop artistes Ace Hood and Future.
A mixtape entitled The Hands of the Gully God will also be released in two weeks.
