Floyd Mayweather Jr. is taking his precious time, enjoying the sights and sounds of Jamaica, unmindful of the fact that the world awaits whether he is going to end up facing Manny Pacquiao on May 2 in Las Vegas.
The professional boxer is kicking back on a tropical vacation, relaxing in Jamaica before jet-setting off to his next exotic destination.
“Laying back, relaxing, enjoying good weather, palm trees and piña coladas. While they continue to lie about making the fight… I’m just going to continue to travel and explore the world on my private jet. #FightNotMadeYet #Jamaica.” – Floyd Mayweather via Instagram.
The match up between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao has been in the making for quite some time. However, for one reason or another, the fight has failed to materialize.
Efforts to get a deal in place have been pretty difficult despite the willingness of the two to face each other.
Just before Mayweather boarded his private jet for the Caribbean, the unbeaten US fighter even engaged Pacquiao in a conversation during an NBA game in Miami and dropped by the Filipino fighter’s suite immediately after the game.
Still, there are still countless issues to be ironed out before everything gets settled and a failure in negotiations should result in the two parties looking elsewhere for their respective dancing partners.
The 37 year old boxer has been updating his Instagram with pictures from his Jamaica vacation.
