Sean Paul, whose real name is Ryan Francis Henriques, burst on to the dancehall scene back in 2008 and has continued on at lightening speed.
Paul was in fine shape at last month’s BBC 1Xtra live concert.
The dancehall superstar delivered several hits from his huge catalog in front of a 8,000 strong audience.
The Jamaican-born, Grammy award-winning artist is responsible for the anthems Gimme The Light, Get Busy and Temperature, plus a string of star features including Baby Boy with Beyoncé.
As the only reggae-dancehall artist, Dutty Paul had the Hammersmith Apollo firmly on their feet to ‘signal de plane’, ‘row the boat’ and ‘dutty wine’ right til the end of night.
Other artists who performed on the show includes 2 Chainz, Emeli Sandé, Chronixx, Nelly, Robin Thicke, Iggy Azalea, and more.
