Ziggy and Stephen Marley go into Fashion Modeling
Grammy-winning recording artistes Ziggy and Stephen Marley have added fashion model to their resumes.
Bob Marley’s two eldest sons, who are successful reggae musicians, songwriters and producers in their own right, have found themselves in the fashion spotlight.
The Marley brothers got suited up in a few sleek looks for the project, wearing John Varvatos tailored suits including a black crocodile jacquard tuxedo and black linen Henley shirt.
The brothers are dressed in John Varvatos tailored clothing and were shot in Austin by distinguished rock photographer Danny Clinch, using in his legendary black and white imagery.
They are featured in adverts parading the sleek suits, adding their own flare with their trademark dreadlocks and scarves.
“The Marley family is legendary. Ziggy Marley and Stephen Marley are carrying on this legacy in their own authentic way. Working with them has been incredibly inspiring. They are truly a magical family,” Varvatos was quoted as saying.
This latest John Varvatos campaign follows 21 seasons conceived by Yard and photographed by Danny Clinch, all of which underscore the brand’s affinity for rock and roll style-makers.
John Varvatos fashion house, which was started in 1999, offers men’s designer clothing, shoes, accessories, and fragrances.
In addition to their upcoming stint, a documentary-style video directed by Danny Clinch about the Marley sons will debut on JohnVarvatos.com on February 5. The film is set to be released on Bob Marley’s 70th birthday.
