Man In FB Video Denies Rape, Abduction Charges

Detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse, CISOCA, have charged a man who posted a video on Facebook, showing him raping a 19-year-old woman.

He’s been charged with rape and abduction, Hype Life Magazine has gathered.

He’s scheduled to appear before the Old Harbour Resident Magistrate’s Court on November 27.

Days after the release of the recording on Facebook he was arrested and questioned in the presence of his attorney.

The footage, which is a recording of sexual intercourse between a man and a seemingly unwilling female participant, was posted from the account of a man Facebook users claim is 25 years old.

The video attracted several unfavourable comments with angry Facebook users accusing the man of being a rapist, but he defended his actions.

On a Facebook post, he said: “All who a talk bout rape get this in a unnu heads, mi neva rape from mi born.”

The police have not released his name. The man has denied the accusations.
