Moonie British Shot Dead by Two Gunmen At Molynes Road Bar

A leading member of the British Link Up crew was hospitalised after being shot multiple times on Saturday night at a bar on Molynes Road in St Andrew.

Popular promoter Wayne Morris, known in the entertainment circle as Moony British, succumbed to injuries sustained in a gun attack at a bar Saturday night (Oct. 24) on Molynes Road, St Andrew — Jamaican authorities indicates.

Close to midnight, the popular promoter was sitting outside the Khalil’s Sports Bar and Grill when two gunmen approached him and opened fire, Hype Life Magazine has gathered.

“I was asleep and heard about 10 loud explosions,” one person at the scene told media reporters.

He was assisted to hospital by a patron where he reportedly succumbed to his injuries.

The Half-Way Tree police have not yet established a motive for the killing, neither have they identified any suspect(s).

The police say investigations are ongoing.

The British Link Up Crew is popular within the dancehall circles for their promotion of dancehall events in and Britain. It is headed by Owen Clarke, also known as Father Fowl.
